Based on our Feedburner stats.

I’ve left out Best of February, 2013.

Stats

After an update of Headway, we lost the Analytics tracking code last week. Oops! So no correct stats over the period. But a little increase according to Jetpack stats March with 52,468 views vs February with 49,886 views (an increase of 5.2%)

Stay tuned!

Top 5 of Chair Blog Half February – Half March, 2013

Based on our Feedburner stats.

I’ve left out Revamping Chair Blog with 476 views and Best of February, 2013 with 358 views as they don’t show new chairs featured during the period.

We’re back on track a bit with the number of posts.

Stats

According to Google Analytics stats are down again:

Visits: 27,306 vs 27,430 (-8.72%)
Pageviews: 52,808 vs 64,078 (-17.59%)

Unfortunately On Feb 25 and Feb 28 we suffered considerable down time. Downtime confuses Google to no end. Furthermore I’ve replaced the Sitemap builder with Yoast’s All in one SEO plugin that comes with a built in Sitemap. Hoping that will work out in the near future.

Stay tuned!

Best of Chair Blog February, 2013

Based on our Feedburner stats.

Stats down when compared with the period January 2013:

We’ve published few posts, partly due to the fact that we had some problems again with the WordPress installation leading to considerable down time. Partly due to other business. To prevent further hiccups I’ve revamped the site.

As a consequence (well I tend to believe so) we’ve had less traffic than in January:

Visits: 27,306 vs 32,300 (-15.4%)
Pageviews: 60,966 vs 74,098 (-17.3%)

With so few post I also skipped the usual Half February stats post.

However: Stay tuned, because we have a lot of stuff in the pipeline!

Best of Chair Blog January 2013

Based on our Feedburner stats.

Stats up when compared with the period December 2012:

Pageviews: 74,098 vs 36,450 (+103.29%)

No more Adsense here!

Google pulled us another stunt: It claimed that we do not comply with their standards with regard to safe web content and blocked our Adsense account. When you look at the numbers 4 and 5 above you could argue whether those posts are completely “safe” in the über puritan eyes of some USA based readers (and Google). However I’ve decided to leave it in stead of to contest it and stripped adsense advertizing from this site. I don’t want Google to dictate what we feature or not. That is our Freedom of Speech. In addition I live in The Netherlands which by nature is less puritan than the USA (maybe because we have exported a lot of several of our own original puritan people to the USA a long, long time ago). Finally for a couple of measly dollars they may keep it.

After this rant I’ll leave out the misc stats of the month.

(Hope you) Stay tuned (notwithstanding).
