Chairs, Chair Design and Chair Designers
More and more the chairs of Nacho Carbonell take the form of a chair installation rather than a chair. This is a variation of his Library Chair.
Currently he has several chairs/installations on display at the Groninger Museum. Until March 22, 2013.
Eindhoven based Nacho Carbonell became instantly famous when he sold all of his work at Design Miami a few years ago and was designated designer of the future all of a sudden. His work is more conceptual than practical, but fun nevertheless.
Until the end of April some of his work is featured in the new Ron Arad designed Holon museum in Israel. The exhibition is curated by his “Design Mother” Lidewij EdelKoort who herself has now discovered social media with a new integrated site Trend Tablet.

A couple of years ago, we met Spanish designer Nacho Carbonell ivars in Valencia, Spain.
Last year we saw him in Milan at the designersblock venue and in the “The Family of Form” show Curated by the Design Academy of Eindhoven (where he studied).
