Lean Lounge Chair by Studio Henk
Although HENK has since grown into an international design brand, its origins are close to home. Thirteen years ago, brothers Okke and Xander Albers were looking for high-quality design furniture for their own homes. Furniture that was not only aesthetically pleasing but also durable and functional enough for everyday life. When these proved difficult to find, they decided – with Xander’s architectural background and Okke’s strategic vision – to design a dining table themselves.
What began with that one table, made in father-in-law Henk’s workshop, grew into today’s distinctive HENK style. The icons of that era still serve as inspiration for the current collection.
