I tried to find more on the web on Hayami Arakawa. Found no website of himself, but he should make one albeit for the sole purpose of this hilarious video.

I found this Intellectual Circle Bench by Hayami Arakawa on the site of the USA Furniture Society.
The Intellectuals Circle seating arrangement promotes a non-linear outlet for intellectual discussion. Participants sit opposing each other around a circular structure, overlapping slightly at the shoulder. The idea behind this type of seating arrangement is to encourage a clear form of verbal communication without visual cues or theatrics between participants.
The Prism stool by Brooklyn (which is American English for the Dutch town of Breukelen), New York, USA based Gregory Buntain is composed of repurposed Walnut.
Triangular scraps are formed into an intricate pattern of hardwood end grain.
The hexagonal structure is extended in the three faceted legs.
With its 19.5 inches height this stool can also be used as a side table.

Gregory Buntain has just completed Sonderstuhl, a chair that takes advantage of the properties of hardwood to highlight a slim and graphic profile with a strong (but light) construction. The slatted seat and back provide contoured seating while maintaining lightness.
