First, let me introduce myself: I am a post-90s emerging designer from China, the director of Femo Design, and also a curator for several furniture exhibitions and design weeks. Femo Design Studio, headquartered in Shenzhen, China, is a research studio focusing on diversified design and has become one of the most renowned furniture design studios in China. With its rich collection and international perspective, the studio has unique insights into product proportions, details, and structures. Currently, it mainly provides innovative design services for furniture, lamps, and various daily necessities to domestic and foreign brand companies. Additionally, it offers curatorial services for exhibitions and design planning for brands. We have received numerous domestic and international design awards and media coverage. Our design works have won over 160 professional awards, including the Annual Supreme Award of China Design Award, Red Dot Design Award (Germany), iF Design Award (Germany), Golden Pin Design Award (Taiwan), China Intelligent Design Award, Silver Award of “Crystal Kylin Award” in China’s Furnishing Industry, Future Star Award of China Red Star Design Award (only two recipients nationwide), and “2020 China Design New Star” by AD Architectural Digest magazine. Our works have been exhibited more than 60 times in events such as Milan Furniture Fair (Italy), Stockholm Furniture Fair (Sweden), Design Shanghai, and Design Spring. Femo Design Studio is committed to exploring the design feasibility of new materials and has long carried out conceptual design projects. Meanwhile, the studio boasts a rich collection of over 2,600 original design products, with the number constantly increasing, striving to become the design institution with the most comprehensive collection system of original home product designs in China. Femo Design Studio has always insisted on supporting and promoting original designs. Our goal is to collect tens of thousands of original designs and establish our own private design museum in China. Living with these original designs every day brings me great joy.
