Yellow Lodge Chair by Jardinique
I’ve a feeling Jardinique is a Canada based small outdoor furniture manufacturer. Maybe even a “cottage furniture maker”. The lodge Chair is a variation of the Westport Chair, designed by Thomas Lee in 1903, but commercialized by Harry Bunnell, whom Thomas Lee had shown the chair and who immediately had reckognized its potential and patented the design.
The Westport Chair is the predecessor of the Adirondack or Muskoka Chair which has many variations nowadays.
Painted in clear yellow an excellent addition for our Yellow Chair month here on Chair Blog.
