Based on our Feedburner [Feedburner has ceased to exist] stats.
According to analytics 48,256 pageviews vs 46,864 for the Half April – Half May period. We had no server issues nor stats issues this period. In one way or another I believe I have to be content with a constant number around or slightly under 50,000 pageviews.
Am very happy with our approximately 4,500 returning visitors. Our real fan base.
Am glad one of my own photo’s reached the first place.
This concludes May blue chair month.
As explained in my prior post I’ve been busy to redress 100rds of posts that I had lost the images of in April. Therefor an average number of new posts.
Also I’ve reached a strong conclusion: Never to import a Tumblr post again Automatically. Just to reproduce them manually.
For the first time in years we had a whole month without any down time. Yay!
According to the stats module of the Jetpack plugin May had 49,829 views vs April 48,615 views. Hence my conclusion is the more posts, the more views as we lost 3 days in April, but had many more posts.
Some of our May, 2013 blue chairs came close, but didn’t make the cut. At the end of May we will see who won.
We miss 3 days of stats because the site was down, then 46,864 page views according to Analytics is not so bad. Add back in the missing days and pageviews would easily have hit the 50,000 views mark. Hope so for May….
