Clean Sofa by Tlalit Segal Raayoni
The bare essence of a sofa, a Clean Sofa, by another young Israeli designer Tlalit Segal Raayoni.
Domestication of nature. A nylon Sheet sewn into wide sleeves, Stuffed with Chaff, and woven warp and weft.
Measurements: 140 cm.
Materials: nylon Sheet, Chaff (straw and dry grass).
Bricks and Mortar Sofa by Richard Woods & Sebastian Wrong
Found this Bricks and Mortar Sofa at the site of The Lollipop Shoppe that has outlets in London and Brighton and has a nice website. The Bricks and Mortar Sofa was designed by Richard Woods & Sebastian Wrong for Established and Sons.
Let them Sit Cake by Dejana Kabiljo
Via Mat and Me I noticed (again) there was an exhibition of Vienna Design recently in the Vienna Museum where Vienna based Dejana Kabiljo exhibited her Let Them Sit Cake stool and sofa during Vienna Design Week. For the sofa photo I refer to Mat and Me. The photo here is from Juicy Pool
Lost in Sofa by Daisuko Motogi
I’ve seen the interesting Lost in Sofa by Japan based Daisuko Motogo making its round in interior design blogs. I also would like to congratulate Daisuko with her starting an independent studio as of 2010. She has a nice website as well. In this chair / sofa you can “lose” your things on purpose:-)
