Chairs, Chair Design and Chair Designers
In the Core77 gallery of Berlin Design Week 2010 I found this chair of Studio Hausen.
It always amazes me when designers exhibit, but don’t show their own work immediately on their own website….
or, as in this case, don’t tell you what why and how they designed what they designed..
Daniel Lorch studied the 20ies tubular chairs, took a tube, spliced it, bent it and made a clever Split Chair, which is on exhibition at the Berlin DMY Design Festival which opens today until June 13, 2010.

London based Design Studio El Ultimo Grito (EUG) presented a number of pieces at the recent DMY berlin, in germany. Their custom lounger for Bombay Sapphire is made from patch-worked material assembled into a long snake like-seating piece.
