M1 by Moritz Friedrich
The feature of the lounge chair “M1†and the table “MT1†is the skin. The skin as the outer layer of a body describes its volume, like a tube does. At the “M1†and “MT1†translucent skins (made from GFK) nestle in and around the frames of the furniture and form exciting space situations. On one hand “M1†and “MT1†show a dynamic light and effortless effect, nevertheless on the other hand they show a radiant solidness. They don´t drive out space but instead they develop space.
