M1 by Moritz Friedrich

M1 by Moritz Friedrich

The feature of the lounge chair “M1” and the table “MT1” is the skin. The skin as the outer layer of a body describes its volume, like a tube does. At the “M1” and “MT1” translucent skins (made from GFK) nestle in and around the frames of the furniture and form exciting space situations. On one hand “M1” and “MT1” show a dynamic light and effortless effect, nevertheless on the other hand they show a radiant solidness. They don´t drive out space but instead they develop space.
