I took the photo of the Aluminum Rietveld Chair in the Amsterdam Stedelijk Museum for Modern Art which has a large chair collection. I find the use of aluminum atypical for Rietveld, but he did research all sorts of material for his chairs. Vitra Design Museum has one as well and suggests this chair originally was designed to be made of fiber board…
