Finally I found some decent photo’s of this chair somewhere on the World Wide Web. I have some myself, but they are taken behind glass and not really good quality. It is hard to see from a photo how you have to sit on the chair. It reminds me of the sculpture Le Penseur (The Thinker) by Rodin.

Carlo Mollino was an Italian architect and designer who also loved racing and taking polaroids of rather nude beautiful woman. Some in chairs, but most too nude for this blog. Alas.
