Few languages capture the essence of the wave quite like the Cebuano variant; almost perfectly emulating the smoothness and solidness of water as it crashes against the surf, the sift and swirl of water as it curls inward and out from itself. This collection is a tribute to the ocean that has forever kept the island city of home… home in its undulating embrace.

There’s a certain serenity when you look at Vito’s work. The peaceful power of nature dramatically speaks through the balanced rhythms of his art pieces. The deepest intelligent comes from the respect for nature. And that seams to be the message that Vito is sending. Or maybe that’s just me talking to myself.

Photo Challenge: Day 6 – Chair

Taken at the world’s largest Adirondack chair (supposedly) in Gravenhurst, Ontario. My dad was making a delivery from BC to Ontario, and we realized that he was not allowed to be on the road at certain hours so we had to immediately pull off in the next town we could find, which ended up being Gravenhurst. It was such a nice little town and I want to go back to Muskoka sometime. So that’s why I picked this picture even though, technically I didn’t take it. Plus I love Adirondack chairs.

Top 5 Posts Half July – Half August, 2012

Above Chairblog Top 5 posts as per our Feedburner stats.

Huzzay: The downwards trend has turned upward.

Visits 39,048 vs 31,871 (+22.52%), and
Page views 126,386 vs 76,761 (+64.65%)

Hosting was almost flawless. So hopefully the downward trend was due to the summer.

It is also possible that some events like the mention of us on the Gizmodo FaceBook page I mentioned in Top Posts of July, 2012 plays a role.

Other stats:

There were several posts that got many more pageviews according to Google Analytics than those mentioned here above: Be it from FaceBook references or Pinterest references…

Apparently there are many more post with more pageviews, but they seem generated by a plugin in a strange way I can’t figure out yet.. maybe later…
