I’ll be visiting the blog The North Elevation more now that I’ve discovered it. The blog has similar views and likes as I have.
Airborne International was a French manufacturer that unfortunately doesn’t operate anymore, but that has made some chair style icons. Its design staff included the likes of Olivier Mourgue and Pierre Guariche. According to Design Addict Airborne was taken over by Arconas and the designer of the Storm Chairs is not known.

Now I still have to discover who designed the Storm Chair.
A sycamore part-ebonised salon suite, comprising of a settee and a pair of side chairs, with velvet upholstery, by André Groult, circa 1913, one signed with the designer’s mark.
Estimate €20,000 – €30,000 ($28,191 – $42,287)
via Christie’s.
Update: Price Realized €26,200 ($37,045) including buyer’s premium.

Had discovered Dutch originated Design Blog Minimalissimo and forgot about it.
Then rediscovered it.
Now it features featuring the Marilyn Chaise Lounge by Borja Abellan, the A of TaDa, and Nacho Soler. After all the weather here in The Hague is nice and soon such chaises can be used on one of our beaches
