The French Laundry Home Chair is another view at the term Laundry Chair.

Actually French Laundry Home is a textile label that is really taking off since 2007. It works together with craftsmen and you can choose a chair or sofa from your liking and let it cover up country style. All textile is produced in the USA. Via Remodelista.

It even has a parallel presence in the imaginary world of Second Life (is it still alive by the way?). Via The I.

Trick, by Sakura Adachi

Trick, by Sakura Adachi

I chuckled when I saw the Trick set by Sakura Adachi. Imagine when guests arrive and invited to your office. “Have a seat.” you said, as you watch see confusion rises on their face. You then pull out a chair and everyone burst into laughters.

Trick, by Sakura Adachi

“Trick” is a bookcase which transforms into a console table with two chairs.
When both sides of the bookcase are moved from the original positions, they function as chairs. What remains in the centre works as a table. The console can be used for dining as well as for writing, reading and working on your computer.
It is multi-purpose furniture which offers a space saving solution and fulfills your everyday activities in small environment.
