TRIO Sofa_ for Work & for Leisure [2008]
Contrasting beige coloured fabric with lime square cushions. Sofa is enhanced with Black American Walnut veneered panels around the outside which also forms the tables.

Crowded Sofa by Ezri Tarazi

‘the sofa ‘crowded’ is made of a collection of rock-shaped pillows made of parts of various national flags forcibly
sawn to form a chaotic surface wholeness. the ‘rocks’ are cozy and comfortable to sit on and they create a
colorful completeness typical of flag-color plate, i.e. basic colors, glaring in their geometrical shape, and creating
‘identifying game’ and identification.’

The Split Personality Sofa was inspired by The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. This of course is the novella which vividly portrays the psychopathology of a split personality.
The Hyde sofa, designed by Scuola Politecnica di Design di Milano students Pablo Crespo and Martin and Isaac Franzene Pineiro, shows its own complexity with the alternation of light and shadow.
