Strip by Fabio Novembre for Casamania – Milan 2011 (17)

Strip by Fabio Novembre for Italian furniture manufacturer Casamania is the asymmetric seat born from a surface that “gently folds into itself, flowing outwards almost like that of a woman’s skirt with a slit running up its profile on one side”.

Produced in polyethylene with rotational moulding, like most of Novembre’s chair designs Strip is suitable for outdoor use and is available in different colors, both in matte and lacquered versions.

Antibacterial chair by Giulio Iacchetti for Casamania

Bek chair by Giulio Iacchetti is created using special Polygiene technology that gives the chair its unique antibacterial properties (How’s that for a season of flues?). The rigid yet light folding chair comes in red, black, white and green, and a set of 8 chairs can be held by a trolley done in black painted metal.

Luca Nichetto Designer

Luca Nichetto was born in Venice in 1976. Afterwards he attended the IUAV, where he graduated in Industrial Design. He began his business career in 1999 by designing his first products made of Murano glass for Salviati. In the same year he began his cooperation with Foscarini: besides designing products, he also worked for them as a consultant for new material research and product development (2001-2003). In 2006, he founded his own agency, Nichetto & Partners.
