L 40, The Making Of
One of the highlights of this year’s Prototype exhibit in Toronto was Geoffrey Lilge’s latest chair design. Made of solid maple, the frame design has many complex curves made of bendywood, and one we have not seen before (look closely at the front edge of the seat). After the jump are exclusive images showing Lilge’s process in designing the L 40 Lounge Chair. L 40 will be part of the Salon Satellite in Milan this coming April, and ICFF in May. JGB
