Recently I’ve done a lot of other things than posting here. I thank Julia profoundly for keeping the blog afloat in the meantime.
Last week I was in Vienna where I had discovered this Chair Scale in a pharmacy on a former trip. I took a photo and that was horribly unfocused. This time I was able to take a better one with the kind permission of the apothecary.
The pharmacy has a long history. I doesn’t seem to have a website, but it does have a (German)Wikipedia entry under it’s impressive name Zum Goldenen Hirschen (Apotheke)

wow, i know scales that look like that, but i have never seen one attached to a chair, amazing!!!
I love the idea of a chair scale! Have never even heard about such thing before, what an amazing find!
And, my pleasure! 🙂
I can’t believe it. I was just browsing around blogs in my break and I came across this. I’ve actually been to this store and saw this chair. I don’t know why but it’s made me really happy to see it here. Holiday memories I guess!
