Rainer Spehl studied furniture design in London from 1994 to 1999, completing his studies at the Royal College of Art with a Master’s in Furniture Design. Rainer worked in London for some time as a freelance designer, where he successfully developed his first products and furniture series. Since 2003 he has been living in Berlin, where he has established a practice specialising in commissions for commercial and private clients. Parallel to this, Rainer works to realise his own projects, for which he has been exhibited on a number of occasions.
