JGreen Design: Living Lounge

The concept behind the creation of this chaise lounge was to take styling consistent with an early 20th Century European Roadster and give it a gesture suggesting that it has a life of its own.

We are currently taking deposits for a very limited edition run of the Living Lounge.

Diamond Chair by Cris Bartels and Anna ter Haar

Via Waslijn (a blogh that later became defunct) I came across young Dutch Designers Cris Bartels and Anna ter Haar who were invited by MU as a couple to create a project for the recent Dutch Design Week which unfortunately I had to miss.

Description: Rocking chair with a dark wooden frame, and cane seat and back.
History: This is a replica of the 1870 design. The rocking chair was relatively unheard of in Europe until Thonet designed this piece.
