designers ben blanc and andrew reed sent us some images of their new ‘mantilla’ chair. the chair is made from injection molded plastic on steel legs. the design took inspiration from the organic curves and texture of seashells. the ridged texture adds a unique appearance to the chair while also adding strength to the chair’s shell.
