Gregory Buntain has just completed Sonderstuhl, a chair that takes advantage of the properties of hardwood to highlight a slim and graphic profile with a strong (but light) construction. The slatted seat and back provide contoured seating while maintaining lightness.

by the way, happy hotelier, this is a great blog! i am a furniture major at the rhode island school of design [risd] in the united states. i will surely be bookmarking this site as a good source for ideas/inspiration. i also invite you to check out my site and have a look at work i have designed and built. the flex chair is my own take on using slats!
