Makes me think of a Rubik’s cube…
De Stijl was all about straight horizontal and vertical lines. Mondrian wanted to adhere to them and Van Doesburg introduced diagonal lines and they even got a dispute about it.
It’s not an easy task to be designing one thing together with other strong-minded designers lol
