Experimenting with quick curating goes on: from the site -> Tumblr (via the Mozilla FireFox add on Tumblr Post by a Swede, David Karlsson) -> Pinterest (via the Pin It Widget -> from there embed the pin into your blog…. probably not the best way…
From my back burner, via Blog2Modern these knitted chairs by Eulália de Souza Anselmo. First I saved and shared the clip in my Google reader for publication here eons ago. Still after all their attempts to “Get It” Google makes it cumbersome to browse your own stuff. Even Google+ doesn’t make it better in my humble opinion. However, I found it again, especially since I restarted Tumblring. I tumblrd it here: what-do-you-want-the-most-when-you-got-the-flu… the import from Tumblr went wrong…so we now leave it as it is. A side note: The present lay out of my Tumblr Archive is awesome and fast loading. I like it. Actually I would like a feature like that here on Chair Blog. Anyone an idea?
This marks the transition from WordPress version 3.2 to WordPress version 3.3
The WordPres “Press This” tool has been fixed with the update and finally works as it should work.
In addition there is now a Tumblr importer tool added to WordPress. I’ve tried it out and it is much better than the way I had done this before: Via importing Tumbl posts into Posterous and thereafer importing it here. With the new importer you get at least a Title and the correct date of the Tumbl post you import…
This is my last Tumbl post I’ve imported here.
Although I’ve started tumblring again recently, blogging is made simpler now. Not sure whether it is necessary to go on tumblring….. stay tuned. There is one reason to do so: We’ve built up a little community over at Tumblr which at present counts 102 followers. We shouldn’t leave them out in the cold….
